We had a pretty fun day today playing with a lot of friends we hadn't seen since before the holiday break. But my two favorite moments came at the beginning and at the end of the day.
This morning, Jack was watching me rush around trying to get his and Violet's breakfast together. He said to me, "Mommy, since you have so much to do, is there anything I can help you with?"
Oh, my sweet boy. He's getting so grown up.
And then this evening, as we were driving home from our playdate, Violet was doing or seeing something that was just cracking her up. She kept laughing and laughing and saying, "Funny! Happy! Funny! Happy!"
I love my sweet boy and my funny, happy girl.
