Motor skills

Today we went to the park with some friends. I brought Jack's tricycle with us, and he actually pedaled and steered for longer than he ever has before. Nothing like friends to provide some inspiration and motivation:


He's also improving his fine motor skills. I can't wait until he can draw his own numbers by himself:


Oh, and just wanted to share a funny Jack-ism from today. After the park, he fell asleep in the car on the way home. When that happens, we typically just leave him in his car seat with the car parked in the garage. Today was actually the second day in a row he's fallen asleep while we've been driving. When I went to go get him after he woke up this afternoon, he looked at me and wailed, "Why do you always leave me here??"

I'm sorry, sweetpea. Believe me, I would love to be able to bring you inside, but you never stay asleep when I do!
