ABCs

Look who knows (most of) her alphabet. Not bad for a one-year-old!

We had a ton of wooden puzzles for Jack when he was Violet's age, but he never really got into them. It's hard to remember toys for your second if your first didn't enjoy them. But last night, I got it into my head to pull some out. Of course, you can never find stuff like that when you want them. Most of the puzzles that were on hand were the cardboard jigsaw puzzles that are both too advanced and too fragile for Violet. This alphabet puzzle was the sturdiest of the ones I could find. I didn't think it would mean anything to her at all, because I certainly have never worked on her letters with her ever. I was shocked when she started naming the letters correctly! I ran to get my video camera, hence this post.

Clearly, we have to work on D, J, and R. :)
