Jack and I have had a wonderful week of celebrating Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year with our friends. While we've probably had more sugar than is technically good for us, we've also had lots of love and friendship - and you can never have too much of that.
This morning, Tom surprised me with a box of chocolates and an amethyst heart pendant. In addition to being a Valentine's Day present, the amethyst heart is also meant to commemorate that Violet (purple, get it?) will be born this year. We all wore good luck red and had a wonderful meal of good luck noodles at a local Chinese restaurant to celebrate.
Happy Year of the Tiger, everyone! Hope it's filled with happiness, good fortune, and, of course, love.
