But finally, at long last, we have our Christmas tree:
I think Charlie Brown would be proud.
It's actually made out of rosemary, so we can eat it after the holidays. :) It is proving to be a good tool in helping Jack learn self-restraint, because he always wants to pull off the ornaments. (The few that we have were almost all gifts from Jack's grandmas.)
For those of you who feel sorry for Jack having to live with Ma and Pa Humbug, he will have his fill of fun Christmas decorations at his grandparents' house. And we'll most likely get a big tree when he's a little bit older.
Bon appetit! Uh, I mean, Merry Christmas! :)

That's hilarious!
No Janis.... that can't really be your tree :)
I am one of those people you were referring to.
I know you are, Danielle! :)
Awww it's cute! I like it!!
Like you, Janis, I have never had a tree, either. My MIL always has 2, so our kids get to enjoy a tree full of fun and excitement in each of their main rooms of their house, when we go over on Christmas eve and Christmas day. It is a darling little tree, and that is an awesome way to recycle...hope you have lots of yummy recipes!
Merry Christmas, Jack-Jack!
I love it. And, I love the idea of being able to eat it after the holidays. MMmmmmmmm.
