I am so glad this week is over! Jack has been Mr. Crankeypants for most of it, and I'm glad Daddy is home for two days to share the wealth. Here are a few snapshots of the last several days.
Thursday, in the car on the way home from La Mesa
Jack: Mommy!
Me: Yes, Jack?
J: Mommy! Mommy!
M: Jack, what do you need?
J: Mommy mommy mommy!!
M: Jack! What?
J: MOMMEEE!!! AUGGGHHH!!!! MOMMEEEEE!!!!
M: Do you have an owie?
J: No! Mommy!
M: Do you want to eat?
J: No! Mommy! Mommy! AUUGGGHHHH!!!!! MAHHHHHH-MEEEEEE!!!! MAHHHH-MEEEEEE!!! AUUGGGGHHH!!! (Imagine this for 20 excruciating minutes in the car)
M (thinking to myself): Why did I ever want him to learn the word "Mommy"??
Friday
J: Button!
M: Button?
J: Yeah!
M: Which button?
J: BUTTON!!!
M: Jack! Which button?
J: BUTTON!!!!! AUUGHHHH!! (Throws himself backwards, hits his head on the floor) AUGGHHH!! OWIE!!!!! BUTTON!!!!!!
M: Jack! If you tell me which button, I'll let you play with it. The microwave button?
J: No! Button!!
M: The fridge button?
J: No!!! BUTTON!!!!!! AUUUGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Lots of days
J: More!
M: More? More what, Jack?
J: More please!
M: Uh, thank you for being polite, but what do you want more of?
J: MORE!!
M: Jack! What do you want more of?
J: MORE!!!! MORE!!!! AUGGHHHHHH!!!!! AUGGHHHHH!!! (Throws himself backwards, hits his head on the floor) AUGGHHH!! OWIE!!!!! MORE!!

He is getting frustrated that he can't say everything that he wants! It is a phase, it will pass my dear, trust me! Big Hugs to you both.
This truly cracked me up because I can relate some days!
I'm told this stage will be over soon, personally I think it's lasting FOREVER!!
