The title basically sums up our busy day today.
Naughty: The day got off to an inauspicious start when Jack flung a full cup of coffee onto our home theatre sound system, shorting it out and staining our formerly white carpet.
Nice: Following an unsuccessful session with the carpet steam cleaner, we headed off to the Pinery Pumpkin Patch in Bonita. We spent the morning there with our best buddies, Sandra and Miguel. Jack had a great time climbing up and jumping off of hay bales, teasing the goats and llama, riding the tractor, running through the corn maze, and throwing and banging pumpkins around. He was a dirty, hay-ey mess after it all.
Hokey-pokey: After Jack's nap, we went to Music and Movement class to play with our friends. Jack had one shoving episode but was relatively well-behaved the rest of the time. He was rewarded with a visit to his beloved bathrooms, which he affectionately calls by name ("Men! Women!").
Artichoke-y: Jack tasted artichokes for the first time today when we had them for dinner. He loved them. He bit down on the leaves and let us pull them through his teeth. Yummy!
He ended the day by telling me, "Duh you!", while making the "I love you" sign. It's so cute when he does this, because he hugs himself and gives a little wiggle. Then he gave me a kiss when I asked for one, which hardly ever happens. Between that and our stereo system coming back to life after it dried out, it ended up being a pretty good day after all.
