Fun times

I am officially one of "those" moms. You know, the ones I said I'd never be, the ones who bribe their children to do things normal, well-behaved children should do.

Yesterday, to get Jack to leave Target's toy department, I told him I'd buy him a smoothie.

He got another smoothie today for agreeing to leave the park.

**SIGH**

However, I didn't have a bribe to get Jack to leave the smoothie place. Therefore, much screaming ensued when I picked him up to take him to the car. To add the perfect topper to an already vexing situation, a terribly old, terrible old man happened to shuffle along as I grimly marched to the car with my shrieking, wriggling child in my arms. This awful old man said to me, "Watch out. I'm going to report you if I see you hit him."

Um, what?!?!?!!

I think my next smoothie is going to be a margarita...

I tried to fix my grammar in the last one...how geeky am I!

I dare that man to report you! :) Don't you wish you could have told him, "I won't hit him if you'll take him for a bit." Sometimes total strangers say the lamest things...

I would have socked that man-ha-ha just kiding. You are a great mom and we all give in to a smoothie for a happy kid.

Ha, I found you!

Yes, I can really relate to your story. I hate really old men too. (j/k).

I may bribe some of the time (okay, a majority of the time). It is the worse too, when you give them a treat, and then they are acting up.

Just a thought: you could have taken the smoothie away to teach a lesson, and thrown it on the old man, for making a bad judgement.

These are the moments when I think of a billion great come-backs for like the next 24 hours. I'm sorry you had to deal with that on top of a lovely situation to begin with. But see how stronger we are? :) Margarita sounds good to me.

That was supposed to say: "See how MUCH stronger we are?" Blah.

Seriously? I would probably have mouthed off to someone like that...you know how we BEAT our kids!

I asked Ry (in front of Daddy, to prove to him that Ry is oblivious to what a spanking is) "RyRy, do you want a spanking?" He said "Yes. Spanking, please, Mommy!" LMAO!!!

I always tell Chad...I beat him every day to keep him in line...which is why I have the best-behaved kid in town! HA! ;)
