As I've written before, Jack has been extremely Mommy-centric lately. This phase has lasted a lot longer than we've expected. And while I, of course, love that my boy loves me, sometimes his attachment has a downside.
For example, today. One of the deals I have with Tom is that he changes Jack's diapers when he's home, because I change them all when he's not. (Still, I know I'm extremely lucky to have such a helpful husband.) But today when Jack had a poopy diaper, he demanded, "Mommy change it!"
Uh, no. Thanks, but no thanks, Jack! A kiss will do just fine as a token of your affection.Speaking of kisses, today was the first day EVER that Jack asked for one from me. But I know it was because Daddy gave him a piece of stinky cheese. He said, "Mommy kiss!" then stuck out his tongue really wide, so that I could kiss the bad taste away.
Oh well, I guess I have to take them where I can get them.
